Upon arrival, begin a full-day game drive across the beautiful Mikumi savannah. The park is home to lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, hippos, impalas, warthogs, and many bird species. The open horizons and grassy plains of Mikumi are often compared to the famous Serengeti. 01:00 PM: Stop for a picnic lunch inside the park. 02:00 PM: Continue with your afternoon game drive, exploring more areas such as the Mkata floodplain and the hippo pools.
